Philips has unveiled a new range of consumer electronics that incorporate the firm's patented wOOx technology to produce high acoustic bass, a company release says. The products include VCD players, an MP3-compatible mini hi-fi, home entertainment stations, flat-screen TVs, projection TVs and even a five-in-one (VCD/MP3/CD/audiotape/radio). The products have "super error correction", which allows them to play scratched VCDs and CDs.
