This week Qatar Airways increased its Kathmandu-Doha run from 9 to 11 weekly flights. The flights are especially popular with European tourists as well as passengers transiting in Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur. Qatar is also adding an extra direct flight from Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur, increasing the number of flights to four. This week the airline began their Oriental Express service to Shanghai and Seoul, making it the first Middle-eastern airline to service South Korea.
